How’re you all today??
“Hi! Who are you?”
“I’m Jasmine,” she smiled, “And you are?”

“You’re very kind,” a smile grew on Jasmine’s face as she stared back into Aladdin’s eyes. “Thank you,” she whispered before turning and beginning to walk away again.
Aladdin stood there for a moment. “Wait! Don’t go just yet! Can I show you something?”
“Oh,” Jasmine turned around, smiling again. “Of course. What is it?”
“Come with me.” He smiled, turning toward the ally. He climbed up on some stacked crates and helped Jasmine up. “The view from up here is wonderful, but I doubt as good as from the palace.” He lead her through his makeshift home and out onto an open roof that overlooked the desert that stretched for miles in front of them.
Jasmine followed Aladdin, fascinated by everything around her. She wasn’t used to the scenery around her, all her life she’d been cooped up in the palace, so this all was like an adventure to her. When she and Aladdin finally reached the top, Jasmine gasped at the sight in front of her. “It’s… it’s beautiful,” she said with a smile, taking a seat on the ledge in front of her, turned so she is still looking at the vast desert. “Everything. It’s all so wonderful.” Jasmine then sighed sadly as the thought of going back to the palace crept into her mind. She knew she couldn’t stay away forever, and she dreaded going back to being stuck inside the palace boundaries.
Aladdin smiled. “You mean to say you don’t have a view like this from the palace?” he raised an eyebrow and nodded his head toward it.
“Oh, I do. It’s just…” Jasmine sighed again. “It’s not the same from there. When I’m looking at this beautiful view from there, it’s like I’m in a…prison, wanting so badly to get out and finally live, but forbidden to leave my cell. Here, it’s like I’m finally free. I don’t feel so-” She suddenly stopped herself, looking up at Aladdin with wide eyes. “I-I’ve said too much,” she said, shaking her head, “I’m sorry.”
“Hello!” Jane grinned. ”I’m Jane Porter. Porter-Smith. Um, Jane Porter-Smith.” She chuckled. ”Sorry. I got married a few days ago, and I’m still getting used to it!”
“Hi, Jane Porter-Smith,” Jasmine laughed. “I’m Jasmine, nice to meet you! Congratulations on the marriage, by the way!”
